The Pingry School stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They blew past North Hunterdon 64-31 at home. Given The Pingry School's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while North Hunterdon is ranked 191st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Bridgewater-Raritan unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 59-52 to Phillipsburg. Bridgewater-Raritan has not had much luck with Phillipsburg recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
The Pingry School's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points per game. As for Bridgewater-Raritan, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.
