Baseball Game Preview: Wayne Memorial Zebras vs. Jefferson Bears

Wayne Memorial hasn't had much luck against Jefferson recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Zebras will head out to take on the Bears at 4:30 p.m. Wayne Memorial has given up an average of 12.1 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Wayne Memorial managed to slip by Dearborn the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Zebras lost 14-4 to the Pioneers on Wednesday.

Braylon Wright made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That RBI was his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Jefferson didn't have quite enough to beat Airport on Wednesday and fell 4-3. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wayne Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
