Football Recap: Bishop Kearney/Rochester Academy vs. St. Mary's Lancers
Bishop Kearney/Rochester Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 17-2 bruising from the St. Mary's Lancers on Saturday. Bishop Kearney/Rochester Academy just can't catch a break and has now endured nine losses in a row dating back to last season.
Israel Wilson was a one-man wrecking crew for St. Mary's as he rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Wilson got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible 65 yards.
Bishop Kearney/Rochester Academy will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on Midlakes at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Mary's, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Cardinal O'Hara at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Cardinal O'Hara focused on turnovers this week as team gave up four on Friday.
