Softball Recap: Marion Center Starts off Right with Win over United

Marion Center had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They never let the United Lions get on the board and left with a 21-0 victory. The Stingers haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

United is on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marion Center will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Northern Cambria at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for United, a feisty cat fight will be fought as United Lions face off against Homer-Center Wildcats at 4:35 p.m. on March 25th.
