Lakeridge and Tigard are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Pacers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tigard took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lakeridge, who comes in off a win.

Lakeridge is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Oregon's top teams: Tualatin, who was ranked fifth at the time (Lakeridge was ranked fourth). The Pacers simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Timberwolves 45-10. The Pacers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 22 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Ansu Sanoe, who rushed for 168 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 37 receiving yards.

Sanoe was just one part of a punishing run game: Lakeridge was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 287 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tualatin only rushed for 112.

Meanwhile, Tigard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 21-14 to Oregon City. Surprisingly, this marked the Tigers' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Tigard's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Lakeridge, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-3.

Everything came up roses for Lakeridge against Tigard in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 35-0 victory. Will the Pacers repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
