Volleyball Recap: San Jacinto Leadership Academy Takes a Loss

San Jacinto Leadership Academy entered their game against Nuview Bridge on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Lions fell 3-1 to the Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in February.

San Jacinto Leadership Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-21.

San Jacinto Leadership Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Nuview Bridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Jacinto Leadership Academy will welcome California Military Institute at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Nuview Bridge, they will host San Jacinto Valley Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
