Volleyball Recap: Shawnee Extends Winning Streak to Three

Shawnee had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Egyptian Pharaohs by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Redskins, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Shawnee took both sets by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-11.

Shawnee's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Egyptian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Shawnee is set to face off against their familiar foe Cobden at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Egyptian will square off against rival Joppa-Maple Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
