Baseball Game Preview: Bald Knob Bulldogs vs. Episcopal Wildcats

The Bald Knob Bulldogs will face off against the Episcopal Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Bald Knob is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Friday. Bald Knob fell just short of Quitman by a score of 7-6. Bald Knob has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chance Passmore was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. Bald Knob is 3-1 when Passmore posts two or more runs, but 5-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of John ?Cooper? Busselle, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, Episcopal lost 14-4 to Central Arkansas Christian on Thursday.

Bald Knob now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Episcopal, they dropped their record down to 4-9 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
