Basketball Recap: Catholic Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Zachary

On Friday, Catholic faced Zachary in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Catholic Bears fell just short of the Zachary Broncos by a score of 56-54. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Broncos recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 29-4. As for Zachary, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 30-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Catholic nor Zachary have any future games scheduled.
