Franklinton and Rocky Mount are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2017, but likely not for long. The Red Rams will head out on the road to take on the Gryphons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklinton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season.

On Monday, Franklinton was able to grind out a solid win over Nash Central, taking the game 5-3.

The Red Rams hit the Bulldogs with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Isabella Kelly (2), Hannah Wilson, Kelsie Pait, and Lela Chapman.

Meanwhile, Rocky Mount came up short against Southern Nash two weeks ago, falling 7-1. Rocky Mount haven't had much luck with Southern Nash recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Franklinton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four matches. As for Rocky Mount, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Franklinton skirted past Rocky Mount 1-0 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Rams since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
