Baseball Recap: Hilltop Takes a Loss

Hilltop managed to slip by Hicksville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cadets came up short against the Aces on Monday, falling 12-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cadets have suffered since May 24, 2024.

Hilltop saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Terry Rebeck, who went 2-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that Rebeck has launched this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Hilltop and nudges their season record down to 6-6. As for Hicksville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hilltop will face off against North Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hicksville, they will venture away from home to face off against Tinora at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
