Basketball Recap: Make It 18 in a Row for Muddy River Homeschool

Muddy River HomeSchool had won 17 straight games and Caleb Sanders did his part to make it 18 on Tuesday. The Muddy River HomeSchool Counselors claimed a resounding 103-61 victory over the Meridian HomeSchool FLYERS thanks in part to Sanders, who almost dropped a triple-double on 44 points, ten boards, and nine steals. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Sun Michael Williams, who dropped a triple-double on 17 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 14 games he's played.

Muddy River HomeSchool pushed their record up to 18-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 41.9 points. As for Meridian HomeSchool, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Muddy River HomeSchool will welcome Jackson HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Muddy River HomeSchool has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Meridian HomeSchool, they will host Hattiesburg HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meridian HomeSchool knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Hattiesburg HomeSchool likes a good challenge.
