Portland won the last time they faced White House and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Portland Panthers walked away with a 40-31 victory over the White House Blue Devils. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 145th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 314th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Portland is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season. As for White House, they dropped their record down to 5-15 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Panthers challenge the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for White House, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against East Robertson at 6:00 p.m. East Robertson will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something White House surely won't give up without a fight.
