Western Albemarle won the last time they faced Woodberry Forest and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Warriors never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. With that win, the Warriors brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Matthew Lapinski, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jay Miller, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

The victory got Western Albemarle back to even at 2-2. As for Woodberry Forest, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Western Albemarle will host Hanover at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodberry Forest, they will head out to challenge Highland at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
