Football Game Preview: Middleton vs. Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central

Middleton will challenge Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central on the road at Bruceton Central High School at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.

Middleton found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 14-44 punch to the gut against Walnut last Friday. Middleton's loss came about despite a quality game from sophomore Luke Turner, who picked up 80 yards on the ground and accumulated 128 passing yards.

Meanwhile, Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central have to be hurting after a devastating 6-34 defeat at the hands of Houston County. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
