Basketball Recap: Jalen Gribbins Key Part of a Team Effort in Eagles Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Russell County, Campbellsville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the W.E.B. DuBois Academy Lions by a score of 52-43. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Campbellsville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jalen Gribbins, who posted 15 points. The game was Gribbins' third in a row with at least ten points. Christian Hart also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assists of the season.

Campbellsville's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-10. As for W.E.B. DuBois Academy, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-8.
