Basketball Game Preview: Muckleshoot Tribal Kings vs. Taholah Chitwhins

The Muckleshoot Tribal Kings and the Taholah Chitwhins will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Muckleshoot Tribal will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.

On Friday, Muckleshoot Tribal humbled Quilcene with an 82-44 victory. The Kings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Taholah). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Lake Quinault 85-28.

Muckleshoot Tribal pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.3 points. As for Taholah, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Everything came up roses for Muckleshoot Tribal against Taholah in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as the squad secured a 71-39 victory. Will Muckleshoot Tribal repeat their success, or does Taholah have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
