Preview: Kennedy vs. Cox
Cox will challenge Kennedy on the road at 2:30 PM on Saturday. Cox are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
After a disappointing zero points in their last game, Cox made sure to put some points up on the board against Eleanor McMain last Thursday. Cox put the hurt on Eleanor McMain with a sharp 43-18 victory. Followers of Cox probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Kennedy lost to Lakeshore, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-47. Kennedy were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-27.
Cox's win lifted them to 4-2 while Kennedy's defeat dropped them down to 1-5. We'll find out if Cox can add another positive mark to their record or if Kennedy can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Cox's step.
