Basketball Recap: Scott County Central Takes a Loss

Scott County Central lost against East Prairie back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Scott County Central Braves were beaten by the East Prairie Eagles 82-48. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 448th, while the Eagles are ranked 95th).

This is the second loss in a row for Scott County Central and nudges their season record down to 1-6. As for East Prairie, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

Scott County Central has already played their next match (against Delta), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. East Prairie will be playing at home against Scott City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
