Volleyball Recap: Concordia Comes Up Short

Concordia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Abilene Cowboys. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Cowboys this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss on October 7th.

Jaylin Roush paced Concordia's offense, picking up 11 kills. Roush got some help from Rylie Jessup and her 12 assists.

Concordia now has a losing record of 18-19. As for Abilene, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-18 record this season.

Concordia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Abilene, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Andale on the 25th.
