Pine Island waltzed into their match on Saturday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the St. Croix Prep Lions. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Pine Island's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for St. Croix Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season.
