Aragon had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt St. Ignatius College Preparatory on Thursday. The Dons put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win. The Dons haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The win didn't come easy: St. Ignatius College Preparatory scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 28-26, 25-19.

Isaac Nagao paced Aragon's offense, picking up nine kills. Nagao got some help from Santiago Smirnoff and his 29 assists. Tadem Szeto controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Aragon's victory bumped their record up to 14-15. As for St. Ignatius College Preparatory, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-21 record this season.
