Ellison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 28th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 17-13 to the Shoemaker Wolves. Even if the Eagles couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Djimon Pinkney was cooking despite his team's loss, firing off two triples, four RBI, and two runs while going 5-for-5. Braxton Greer was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
