Volleyball Recap: West Clermont Comes Up Short

West Clermont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Milford Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 14th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-8.

Trent Cottrell paced West Clermont's offense, picking up three kills. Cottrell got some help from Jordan Michael Pack and his seven assists.

West Clermont's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Milford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season.

West Clermont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Anderson on the 1st. As for Milford, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Walnut Hills on the 1st.
