Volleyball Recap: Crestwood Comets vs. Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack
After flying high against Tunkhannock last Thursday, Crestwood came back down to earth. Crestwood fell just short of the Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The loss put an end to the Comets' undefeated start to the season.
In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Crestwood sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 19-25, 25-22, 19-25, 18-16.
Jordany Rodriguez had an outrageously good game for Wilkes-Barre as he had 36 digs, 15 kills, and one block. Another player making a difference was Tijan Nijai, who had 41 assists and six digs.
