Softball Recap: Era Takes a Loss

If Era was feeling good fresh off their 17-2 takedown of Chico on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hornets came up short against the Lindsay Knights on Friday, falling 18-1. The Hornets have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Era saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bentley Sloop, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Era's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Lindsay, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Era will take on rival Alvord at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lindsay is set to square off against their familiar foe Muenster at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
