Volleyball Recap: Cascade Takes a Loss

If Cascade was feeling good off their 3-0 takedown of Maquoketa last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Anamosa Raiders on Tuesday. The sweep was certainly out of character for the Cougars, seeing as the last time the team was held without a set was September 5th.

Cascade has now lost four of their last five games at home. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-10 record this season. Anamosa (14-12) has been on a roll lately: they've now won three of their last four games.

Cascade wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Easton Valley on the 8th. As for Anamosa, their road trip will continue as they head out to face West Branch at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
