Volleyball Recap: Warrensburg-Latham Victorious

It was a proper cat-fight when Warrensburg-Latham took on Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City on Saturday. The Cardinals came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 2-0.

Ava Kierbs paced Warrensburg-Latham's offense, picking up five kills. Kierbs were helped by Emma Whightsil and Audrey Billingsley, who contributed five assists each. Kierbs also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Drue Vallandingham, racking up four apiece.

Warrensburg-Latham's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
