Basketball Recap: White House Takes a Loss

White House was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 40-31 to the Portland Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 314th, while the Panthers are ranked 145th).

White House's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Portland, they pushed their record up to 17-10 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. White House will take on East Robertson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in East Robertson's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Portland, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Panthers face off against the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
