Preview: A.C. Flora Falcons vs. Easley Green Wave
The A.C. Flora Falcons will be playing at home against the Easley Green Wave at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
After a string of four wins, A.C. Flora's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost to Ridge View at home by a decisive 64-47 margin.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Terriana Gray, who scored 17 points along with two steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for 16 straight games. Tamira Delaney was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Easley was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 48-43 to Greenwood. While losing is never fun, Easley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while Greenwood is ranked 18th).
A.C. Flora's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-7. As for Easley, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-16.
