Baseball Recap: Churchill Comes Up Short

Churchill fell victim to Clark and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 last Tuesday.

Churchill has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. The win was the fourth in a row for Clark, bringing their record up to 9-7.

Coming up, Churchill will challenge San Marcos at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Clark, they will square off against Madison at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
