Palmer Trinity has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Pembroke Pines Charter Jaguars at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Palmer Trinity is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
Palmer Trinity can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Mater Academy Bay a 10-0 shutout. The victory was just what Palmer Trinity needed coming off of a 10-3 defeat in their prior game.
Kinsey Cerda was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Hailey Rodriguez was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Pembroke Pines Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell victim to a tough 9-0 defeat at the hands of Winter Springs.
Palmer Trinity's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Pembroke Pines Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
