Football Game Preview: Humphreys County Cowboys vs. Edwards Tigers

The Humphreys County Cowboys will challenge the Edwards Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Humphreys County came up short against Leflore County and fell 28-15.

Meanwhile, Edwards won against O'Bannon last Friday with 20 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Tigers never let Amanda Elzy get on the board and left with a 20-0 win. That looming 20-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

Humphreys County now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Edwards, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Humphreys County didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Edwards in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 16-12 win.
