Gustine is 8-2 against Delhi since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Reds will head out on the road to square off against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Gustine and seven for Delhi.

Gustine is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Stone Ridge Christian on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Reds were beaten by the Knights 43-7. The Reds were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-0.

Meanwhile, Delhi fell victim to Denair and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 41-0 loss at the hands of the Coyotes. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Hawks have suffered against the Coyotes since October 12, 2018.

Delhi's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Gustine, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Gustine couldn't quite finish off Delhi in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 and fell 24-21. Thankfully for the Reds, Antonio Gutierrez (who rushed for 93 yards and two scores) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
