Basketball Recap: Mount Union Takes a Loss

Mount Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the West Branch Warriors 62-33. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 545th, while the Warriors are ranked 237th).

Mount Union now has a losing record at 9-10. As for West Branch, their victory was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-2.

Mount Union will welcome McConnellsburg at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for West Branch, they are taking a road trip to face off against Curwensville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
