Basketball Game Preview: Immokalee Indians vs. North Fort Myers Red Knights

The Immokalee Indians just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the North Fort Myers Red Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Thursday, Immokalee came up short against Barron Collier and fell 69-56. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 379th, while the Cougars are ranked 171st).

Meanwhile, North Fort Myers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They managed a 47-41 victory over Riverdale.

Immokalee has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for North Fort Myers, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Everything came up roses for Immokalee against North Fort Myers in their previous matchup back in February of 2022, as the squad secured a 67-39 victory. Does Immokalee have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Fort Myers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
