Football Recap: Gunner Tate's Menacing Defense Leads Macarthur over Bishop Mcguinness + How To Watch

MacArthur lost to Bishop McGuinness back in November of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Highlanders strolled past the Fighting Irish with points to spare, taking the game 35-21. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Highlanders.

Aivan Locklin had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 209 yards and four scores while picking up 12.3 yards per carry.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: MacArthur was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 311 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bishop McGuinness only rushed for -19.

MacArthur didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Gunner Tate, Willie Warren, and Jaquez Bradford picked up one apiece.

MacArthur's record now sits at 8-2. As for Bishop McGuinness, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1.
