Softball Recap: Monroeville Eagles vs. Plymouth Big Red

Monroeville put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Monday. They put the hurt on the Plymouth Big Red with a sharp 14-1 victory. The win was familiar territory for Monroeville who now have five in a row.

Emily Scheid spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered one run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances.
