Maranatha Baptist scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Mountain Top Christian by a score of 45-43. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Crusaders have suffered since December 1, 2023.

Mountain Top Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nicolina Beauprey, who posted 15 points and three steals. Beauprey is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Greeb, who earned eight points along with nine rebounds and three steals.

Maranatha Baptist's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Mountain Top Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
