Baseball Recap: Holliday Comes Up Short

Holliday saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Steele Knights. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Parker Jones made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-3. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Holliday's loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Steele, they now have a winning record of 6-5-4.

While Holliday had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
