Volleyball Recap: Longmeadow Has No Trouble Against Putnam Vo-Tech

Longmeadow won the last time they faced Putnam Vo-Tech and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Lancers blew past the Beavers 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.

Longmeadow was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 25-13.

Kean Jarvinen paced Longmeadow's offense, picking up 17 kills. Jarvinen got some help from Nhan Vuong and his 34 assists. Anthony Jackson and Chris Bousquet kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Longmeadow's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for Putnam Vo-Tech, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coming up, Longmeadow will venture away from home to take on West Springfield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Putnam Vo-Tech, they will welcome Smith Vo-Tech at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
