Volleyball Game Preview: Van Wert Cougars vs. Kenton Wildcats

The Van Wert Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Kenton Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Van Wert and six for Kenton.

Van Wert came up short against Antwerp on Monday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18, 25-17.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Kenton and Memorial, and Memorial kept the tradition alive. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Roughriders on Thursday.

Kenton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Van Wert, their loss dropped their record down to 1-20.

Van Wert suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Kenton in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
