After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sinton, Calhoun was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Rockport-Fulton Pirates. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 5-2 win last Thursday.

Calhoun has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-13-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Rockport-Fulton, they now have a losing record of 12-13-1.

Calhoun has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Jones on the 25th. Rockport-Fulton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
