Volleyball Recap: Ellicott Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Ellicott extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 1-20. They lost 3-0 to the Colorado Springs Christian Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Thunderhawks of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

As for Colorado Springs Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season. They not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 9th (when they won 3-0).

Lily Riker was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had seven digs and two aces. Those seven digs gave her a new career-high.

As of now, neither Ellicott nor Colorado Springs Christian have any future games scheduled.
