Baseball Recap: Joliet Central Comes Up Short

Joliet Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They came up short against the Plainfield East Bengals, falling 11-4. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bengals this season, with their most recent defeat being a 8-5 loss on Tuesday.

Joliet Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Plainfield East, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-16-1.

Looking ahead, Joliet Central will square off against Thornton Fractional South at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Plainfield East, they will head out to take on Plainfield South at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
