Basketball Recap: Crosby Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Crosby had won four straight home games and TYLER EADEN did his part to make it five on Friday. The Crosby Cougars enjoyed a cozy 74-59 victory over the Pasadena Eagles thanks in part to EADEN, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 17 boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (two).

Crosby has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Pasadena, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-9.

Crosby and Jersey Village will round out the year against one another at at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Crosby knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Jersey Village likes a good challenge. As for Pasadena, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Fork at 12:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
