Milan had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 37-point drubbing they dealt Hale on Tuesday. The Milan Wildcats took their match with ease, bagging a 55-18 victory over the Hale Cardinals. That looming 55-18 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wildcats yet this season.

Milan got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Marian Dabney out in front who posted 12 points along with seven assists and six boards. Another player making a difference was Mya Pauley, who went 5-for-8 on her way to 11 points and eight rebounds.

Milan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in six consecutive contests.

Milan has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points over those games. Hale dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Milan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 53-46 victory against Scotland County on the 20th. Hale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
