Baseball Recap: Huntland Takes a Loss

Huntland lost against Eagleville on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hornets lost 12-2 to the Eagles. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Huntland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grant Jernigan, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Huntland's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Eagleville, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Huntland will host Culleoka at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Eagleville, they will welcome Spring Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
