Basketball Recap: Timothy Christian Comes Up Short

Timothy Christian lost against St. Edward back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Timothy Christian Trojans received a blow as they fell 43-28 to the St. Edward Green Wave.

Despite the loss, Timothy Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Elisabeth Van Den Berg posted ten points.

Timothy Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for St. Edward, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 18 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Timothy Christian will welcome Walther Christian Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Edward, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Marian Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
