Grosse Pointe North came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 points), and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the University Liggett Knights 57-30. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 40-29 back in December of 2024.

Grosse Pointe North's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for University Liggett, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.

Coming up, Grosse Pointe North will take on Western International at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Western International's defense has only allowed 29.5 points per game this season, so Grosse Pointe North's offense will have their work cut out for them. University Liggett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
